Client not by-passed by Compulsory Purchase
This month, Jones Norris Adams concluded the Compulsory Purchase Claim against their client's interest in respect of land in Mid-Wales.
The land which had been blighted for many years by a possible road scheme is located at the edge of Newtown, Powys.
The acquiring authority originally offered £50,000 reflecting the land's existing use as agricultural however a seven figure sum was finally agreed when we successfully argued that the field would probably have been re-developed if a different by-pass route was selected.
