Valuation Office do not renege on agreement.


In an unusual twist of events JNA understood they had persuaded the Valuation Office to agree a significant rate reduction for their client Comptoir Libanais in respect of their Soho outlet.

The mysteries of the internal Valuation Office machinery then concluded that a different decision was appropriate.

JNA appealed to Valuation Tribunal but after further dialogue with JNA, the Valuation Office then asked for the Tribunal to determine the originally agreed lower Rateable Value.
